Book issue: To borrow the book the patron should come to the Reading Room (Ground floor or 1st floor, Library). 

One must bring an ID card. No ID card = no book. 

Undergraduate and Graduate students may have up to 5 books listed in their library accounts at one time.

Book return: The patron should return the book to their account one day before the deadline, or extend the date of use by coming to the library (bring book and ID card). 

Book lost: In case of loss or damage of books and other materials from the scientific library, they must be replaced:

• Bring a book with an identical ISBN, author, and title;
• If a lost book is old, and cannot be found in the stores with exactly those years, you can bring an updated version (the books from 2020 and up are accepted);
• or compensate for the lost book by paying its market price + 2,500 KZT penalty. The book’s price must be confirmed in the Acquisition and Cataloging Department (Room B114). 

The library has the right not to accept a book if it does not meet the requirements.
